The College is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and suitably qualified VET Electrotechnology Teacher commencing in Term 1, 2027.

<p>Emmaus College is a proudly Catholic co-educational College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, established in 1980. The College operates over multiple campuses, at Vermont South, Vermont and Burwood. A Senior Campus for Years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 in Vermont South, a Junior Campus for K to Year 6 in Vermont South (1.8km from the Senior Campus) and a Year 9 Campus in Vermont (1.4km from the Senior Campus) and a VET Campus in Burwood.</p> <p><strong>VET Electrotechnology Teacher</strong><br> &nbsp;<br> The College is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and suitably qualified VET Electrotechnology Teacher commencing in Term 1, 2027.<br> &nbsp;<br> Applications are welcomed from individuals with a passion for vocational education and training and a commitment to preparing young people for employment, apprenticeships and further study within the Electrotechnology industry.<br> &nbsp;<br> The incumbent will be responsible for delivering and assessing VET Electrotechnology qualifications through the VET Delivered to School Students (VETDSS) program. This includes providing practical and industry-relevant instruction in electrical theory, circuits, wiring and cabling, testing and fault finding, soldering, workplace communication, electrical safety, and the use of industry-standard tools and equipment. The successful applicant will maintain compliance with VRQA, VETDSS and Standards for RTOs (2025) requirements while supporting high-quality student outcomes.<br> &nbsp;<br> The successful applicant will work minimum one day per week (FTE 0.20) in an ongoing capacity.<br> &nbsp;<br> The successful applicant will be committed to the ethos of a Catholic school.<br> &nbsp;<br><strong>Applications close 9:00am Friday 26 June 2026.&nbsp;</strong><br> &nbsp;<br><i>Emmaus College is committed to the creation and maintenance of a child-safe school environment.
