We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join the College commencing at the start of Term 3, 2026
<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>St Dominic's College invites applications from suitably qualified and enthusiastic educators for the position of Music Teacher. This is a full-time, permanent teaching role within a dynamic and collaborative faculty.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will contribute to both the academic and co-curricular life of the College and support the ongoing development of a vibrant Music program.</p>
<p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver high-quality Music programs across a range of Stages in accordance with NESA requirements </li>
<li>Develop engaging and differentiated teaching and learning programs </li>
<li>Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with College and NESA expectations </li>
<li>Contribute to the ongoing development and review of Music curriculum and assessment practices </li>
<li>Support and participate in co-curricular music programs and College events </li>
<li>Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families </li>
<li>Support the College’s pastoral care program, assemblies, and community events </li>
<li>Model and promote the College’s Catholic values and the Edmund Rice Charism</li>

<p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A strong commitment to Catholic values, morals, and faith in the Edmund Rice tradition </li>
<li>Current NESA accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above </li>
<li>Tertiary qualifications in Music Education or a relevant discipline recognised by NESA </li>
<li>Demonstrated effectiveness as a classroom practitioner in secondary Music education </li>
<li>Sound knowledge of NESA Music syllabus requirements </li>
<li>Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills </li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Highly Desirable Criteria:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience teaching Music across a range of Stages (4–6) </li>
<li>Experience in co-curricular music activities such as ensembles, bands, or performances </li>
<li>Ability to differentiate learning to support diverse student needs </li>
<li>Experience integrating technology into Music education</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Salary and Conditions </strong></p>
<p>Teachers at St Dominic’s College are employed under the NSW Catholic Independent Schools (Teachers – Model B) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023 and may attract higher levels of remuneration.</p>
<p>The salary will be reflective of NESA accreditation level and teaching experience, with an estimated annual salary between $94 733 and $136 081</p>
