<p><strong>About the Role </strong></p>
<p>In this role, the successful applicant will: </p>
<ul>
<li>Support Play‑Based Activities — Assist in delivering engaging, play based experiences that inspire curiosity and support children’s development and wellbeing. </li>
<li>Create Inclusive Environments — Help set up and maintain inclusive, stimulating spaces that encourage exploration, creativity, and discovery. </li>
<li>Build Positive Relationships — Foster warm, nurturing relationships with children to promote emotional safety, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging. </li>
<li>Support Family Partnerships — Communicate respectfully with families, supporting positive partnerships that contribute to each child’s learning journey. </li>
<li>Collaborate with the Team — Work closely with the OSHC team to ensure smooth daily operations, consistent supervision, and a positive, child centred program culture. </li>
</ul>

<p>Our TAS OSHC Service is offered on all school days, including pupil-free days (closed public holidays and for 2 weeks over Christmas each year.) </p>
<ul>
<li>Before School Care operating hours are 7am to 8:30am </li>
<li>After school Care operating hours are 3:00pm to 5:45pm </li>
</ul>
<p>Vacation Care operates during school holidays and on pupil-free days. It combines excursions, theme-based days, specialty clubs and incursions. </p>

<p><strong>About you </strong></p>
<p>To be successful in this role you are: </p>
<ul>

<li>Passionate about creating an inclusive, safe and engaging environment where all children feel respected, supported and able to participate </li>
<li>Can assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a high-quality program, this includes contributing to the QIP. </li>
<li>Comfortable using Microsoft Office and open to learning new systems </li>
</ul>

<p><strong>You will also bring: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or similar qualification) or working towards attainment, or </li>
<li>Working towards a certificate or tertiary qualification such as Education, Nursing etc. </li>
<li>Experience in OSHC or Vacation care preferably in a school environment (preferred) </li>
<li>Certificate - CPR </li>
<li>Certificate - First Aid </li>
