<p>Qualified Early Childhood Educator (Full-Time)</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Bindook Cottage, Terrey Hills</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>Bindook Cottage is seeking an experienced and passionate Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for an educator who is committed to providing high-quality care and education for children aged 12 months to 5 years and who values building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.</li> <li>Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).</li> <li>Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development.</li> <li>Foster positive relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider community.</li> <li>Support children's wellbeing, learning, and development through responsive and intentional teaching practices.</li> <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that meets all health and safety requirements.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), centre policies, and relevant legislation.</li> <li>Work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team.</li> <li>Contribute to a positive workplace culture and ongoing quality improvement processes.</li> <li>Supervise and support children's daily routines, including meals, rest times, and outdoor play.</li> </ul> <p>Essential Criteria</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years' experience working in a Long Day Care setting.</li> <li>Experience working with children aged 12 months to 5 years.</li> <li>Certificate III, Diploma, or equivalent Early Childhood qualification.</li> <li>Current Working With Children Check.</li> <li>Current Child Protection and eSafety Training certificates.</li> <li>Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications.</li> <li>Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively within a team environment.</li> <li>Strong organisational and time management skills.</li> </ul> <p>Desirable Criteria</p> <ul> <li>Experience using digital programming and documentation platforms.</li> <li>Knowledge of inclusive practices and supporting diverse learning needs.</li> </ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>A supportive and collaborative team environment.</li> <li>Opportunities for professional development and growth.</li> <li>The chance to work in a unique, community-focused early learning setting.</li> <li>A rewarding role supporting children's learning and development during their early years.</li> </ul> <p>If you are a dedicated, enthusiastic educator passionate about early childhood education, we would love to hear from you.</p>
