<p><strong>Religion/Studies of Religion Teacher&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><i><strong>The ability to teach another subject area will be highly regarded.</strong></i></p> <p>We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Religion and Studies of Religion teacher to join our dynamic and faith-filled learning community.&nbsp; This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the intellectual, spiritual and moral development of young women in a supportive Catholic environment.</p> <p>The ability to teach another subject area will be highly regarded.</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <ul> <li>This role is for a year 7-12 Religion/Studies of Religion teacher, plus another subject</li> <li>Term 3, 2026 start – full-time permanent positions</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons that deepen students' understanding of world religions and their role in society.</li> <li>Assess and provide effective feedback on student work, ensuring they meet academic standards.</li> <li>Contribute to the development and implementation of the Religion and Studies of Religion curriculum.</li> <li>Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and continuously improve teaching methods.</li> <li>Provide pastoral care and support to students, fostering their personal and spiritual growth.</li> <li>Participate in school events and activities that promote the College's Catholic ethos.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.</li> <li>Experience teaching Junior Religion and Senior Studies of Religion and another subject.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.</li> <li>Proficiency in integrating ICT and digital learning tools to enhance student engagement and support contemporary teaching practices.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues</li> <li>Passion for Catholic education and a commitment to the spiritual development of young people.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits package, including access Fitness Passport</li> <li>Opportunities for professional development&nbsp;</li> <li>Supportive and collegial work environment that values work-life balance</li> <li>No Saturday sport commitment</li> </ul> <p><strong>About us</strong><br><br> St Scholastica's College is a member school of Good Samaritan Education.
