The Kitchen Hand plays a vital role in supporting the efficient and high-quality operation of the College's Food Services department, undertaking food handling, catering tasks and customer service.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Day to day services included taking orders, operating the coffee machine, and packaging and labelling food.</li> <li>Responsible for stock rotation, money handling and POS sales.</li> <li>Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and proper storage.</li> <li>Be aware of food allergies and special dietary requirements.</li> <li>Maintain a positive attitude and a strong commitment to supporting our students, boarders and staff.</li> <li>Demonstrate&nbsp;strong communication&nbsp;skills to effectively liaise with colleagues.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hold or willingness to obtain an "I'm Alert" Food Safety Certificate</li> <li>Prior work experience in food services industries preferred.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service and effective interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and chemical handling.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Highly developed organisational and time management skills.</li> <li>Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Us</strong></p> <p>St Peters Lutheran College is a Co-Educational Day and Boarding School of the Lutheran Church located on 52 acres just 7 kilometres from Brisbane CBD.
