<p>About the Opportunity</p>
<p>We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health and Physical Education (HPE) Teacher to join a highly regarded independent F–12 school in Melbourne's western suburbs. <p>Key Responsibilities</p>
<ul>
<li>Plan, deliver and assess engaging Health and Physical Education programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.</li>
<li>Prepare comprehensive unit plans and assessment tasks in accordance with departmental requirements.</li>
<li>Foster a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment that supports student wellbeing, participation and achievement.</li>
<li>Promote healthy lifestyles, physical activity and positive wellbeing practices among students.</li>
<li>Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback to students and families.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records and contribute to student reporting processes.</li>
<li>Participate in parent-teacher interviews, curriculum days and professional learning opportunities.</li>
<li>Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning programs.</li>
<li>Organise and support sporting events, carnivals, excursions, camps and co-curricular activities as required.</li>
<li>Collaborate with colleagues to support continuous improvement and student success.</li>
</ul>
<p>About You</p>
<p>To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>A recognised teaching qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent).</li>
<li>Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.</li>
<li>Experience teaching Health and Physical Education across relevant year levels.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of contemporary teaching practices and curriculum delivery within HPE.</li>
<li>Excellent classroom and practical learning environment management skills.</li>
<li>The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.</li>
<li>A commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care.</li>
<li>Confidence integrating technology into teaching and learning.</li>
<li>A collaborative and professional approach to working within a school community.</li>
<li>Current First Aid qualifications (or willingness to obtain).</li>
