<p>Known and respected for its learning and wellbeing programs, the College opened a new campus in Cobblebank in 2023 with an intake of 140 Year 7 students and will accommodate 1500 Year 7-12 students by 2028. </p>
<p>Our Year 7-12 Melton West campus, with its exceptional facilities and secondary pathways, is the foundation upon which our new campus will be modelled.</p>

<p><strong>Auslan Teacher - Cobblebank Campus 2027</strong></p>
<p>Join the growing team at St Francis Catholic College as an Auslan Teacher and play a meaningful role in launching the Auslan program at our Cobblebank Campus, following the program's great success at our Melton Campus.</p>
<p>This exciting opportunity is ideal for a passionate and engaging educator who is committed to fostering inclusive education, communication, and deaf awareness within a vibrant and faith-filled learning community. The successful candidate will deliver the Auslan curriculum through innovative and inclusive teaching practices, creating dynamic learning experiences that inspire students of all abilities while upholding the College’s Catholic and Franciscan values.</p>
<p>Working collaboratively with colleagues, the Auslan Teacher will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and continuous improvement, while supporting individual student learning needs through diverse teaching strategies and contemporary digital resources. The role also includes maintaining compliance with child safety requirements, curriculum standards, and professional responsibilities, including accurate student monitoring and attendance processes.</p>
<p>We welcome enthusiastic educators who are committed to lifelong learning, inclusive practice, and helping shape and grow this exciting program within the College community. VIT registration and relevant teaching qualifications are required.<br>

<p>Commencing January 2027, this is a full-time, ongoing position.<br>

<li>Appropriate expertise and experience in the areas of Teaching & Learning. </li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in leading best practice in the management of people and resources. </li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to build capacity in others.</li>

<p><strong>Skills & Experience Required</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)</li>
<li>A strong commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of the College</li>
<li>Ability to implement differentiated learning and use contemporary technology to support student outcomes</li>
<li>An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.</li>
<li>An eagerness to learn.</li>

<p><strong>Special Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>

<li>Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration</li>
<li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.</li>
