At Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we are passionate about our students and their wellbeing and education. We are looking for a passionate and vibrant teacher to join us in third term for a long service leave replacement position. There will be 7 weeks in a 1/2 class and 3 weeks in a 3/4 class. We are also open to 2 different people for these positions so reach out if you have any questions.
<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant will have:<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>An understanding of contemporary learning &amp; teaching&nbsp;</p> <p>A commitment to MACS 2030 Strategic Plan and Vision for Instruction</p> <p>A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Science of Learning and explicit teaching</p> <p>Strong collaboration skills</p> <p>Enthusiasm and flexibility</p> <p>Commitment to Catholic Education&nbsp;</p> <p>Strong communication skills</p> <p>Enjoy being part of a team</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Experience and expertise with the following is highly desirable:</p> <p>- Explicit Instruction (using Ochre resources)</p> <p>- PBL (Positive Behaviours for Learning)</p> <p>- Accreditation to teach RE&nbsp;</p> <p>- VIT registration (essential)<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>The OLMC community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.
