St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is seeking expressions of interest from qualified independent contractors to provide student tuition.

<ul> <li>Independent Contractor Engagement</li> <li>Commencing Term 3 2026</li> <li>Located at our Springfield School</li> </ul> <p><strong>Expression of Interest (EOI) – Contractor Services</strong></p> <p><strong>Piano, Vocal, and Speech &amp; Communication Tuition</strong></p> <p>St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is seeking expressions of interest from qualified independent contractors to provide student tuition. This engagement will be managed in accordance with the College’s Procurement Policy and Procedures.</p> <p><strong>Scope of Work and Services Required</strong></p> <p>The successful contractor will:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver high-quality and engaging one-on-one or small group tuition of students from Years 1-12.</li> <li>Support students in preparing for performances, exams (must be able to prepare Diploma level repertoire), competitions, and College events.</li> <li>Monitor and assess student progress, providing meaningful and constructive feedback.&nbsp;</li> <li>Create a positive, enthusiastic, and supportive learning environment that reflects the College’s commitment to excellence.</li> <li>Contribute to the ongoing&nbsp;growth, innovation, and performance culture of the St Peters Performing Arts Program.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Duration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Commencing July 2026</li> <li>Term-time delivery</li> <li>Up to 25 hours of tuition a week</li> <li>Contract duration to be confirmed following evaluation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location</strong></p> <ul> <li>On-site at St Peters Lutheran College, Springfield</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Contractor Profile</strong></p> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Music, Music Education, Performance, or a related discipline.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience teaching piano, vocal, or speech &amp; communication across a range of ages and abilities but with a particular focus on Year 1-12.</li> <li>Experience in ensemble direction and chamber music coaching (highly regarded).</li> <li>Strong pedagogical knowledge, including technique development and appropriate repertoire selection.</li> <li>Understanding of AMEB, Trinity or other recognised examination systems.</li> <li>Ability to inspire students and foster a growth-minded practice culture.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You are an enthusiastic and motivational educator who brings energy, skill, and a genuine love of teaching music and performance. You demonstrate excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds. You are committed to upholding St Peters’ high musical standards while modelling patience, professionalism, and student-centred teaching.&nbsp; Experience working in a school setting, maintaining an established home studio, and performing professionally will be highly regarded.
