Our mission is to give students a world-class education in an international environment that allows them to graduate as French-English bilingual citizens of the world.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As a permanent full time Physics Teacher, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Teach the French Physics-Chemistry curriculum in French to secondary school students (Years 6-12)</li> <li>Prepare students for examinations (French DNB &amp; Baccalauréat)</li> <li>Teach within the framework of the fundamental principles of the French and Australian educational systems with high standard expected</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Flexible and multicultural environment</li> <li>Access to local and international Professional Development&nbsp;</li> <li>Remuneration as per Independent Schools NSW/ACT Standards Model MEA (between $94 155 et $133 009 AUD as per CMEA)</li> </ul> <p>Desired Skills and Experience</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Masters degree in education or equivalent</li> <li>At least 4 years’ experience teaching at secondary school level</li> <li>Ability to teach physics in French</li> <li>A teacher who is attentive and thoughtful, able to work collaboratively within the school community, and committed to improving academic results</li> <li>Proven ability to engage pupils through inclusive and innovative teaching practices</li> <li>Fluency in French and English (equivalent to an overall IELTS score of at least 5.0)</li> <li>Knowledge of the AEFE network and the French education system abroad</li> </ul>
