<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a passionate and engaging Mathematics Teacher to join the Mathematics Faculty at Sheldon College.</p>
<p>In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs across Mathematics, with a focus on supporting strong student engagement, confidence and academic achievement. You will work within a dynamic and collaborative team of educators, contributing to a contemporary curriculum aligned with ACARA and QCAA requirements.</p>
<p>You will utilise evidence-based teaching strategies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, reflection and professional growth.</p>
<p>This role includes a strong commitment to student safety and wellbeing, ensuring all practices align with the College’s Child Protection policies, duty of care obligations and relevant legislative requirements.</p>

<p><strong>About you</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications in Mathematics and/or Education</li>
<li>Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience delivering Mathematics curriculum in Secondary Education</li>
<li>Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning programs aligned with ACARA and QCAA</li>
<li>Passion for quality teaching and learning with a focus on strong student engagement and academic outcomes</li>
<li>Ability to apply creative and innovative teaching practices and digital tools to support student learning</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues</li>
<li>A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a team environment</li>
<li>High standards of professionalism, integrity and personal presentation</li>
