Wenona is seeking a dedicated and passionate Administration Assistant/Receptionist to join our Woodstock (Junior School) Team.

<p>Wenona is seeking a dedicated and passionate Administration Assistant/Receptionist to join our Woodstock Junior School (K-3) Team during term time only. You will provide a broad range of administrative support to meet the needs of the Junior School, as well as our students and staff. This role contributes to the overall support of our Junior School, whilst contributing to a positive internal culture where service, integrity, kindness and humour are valued.</p> <p>Wenona aims to encourage, challenge, extend and nurture each student in a way that allows her to achieve her full potential. To achieve this, Wenona prides itself on attracting intelligent, inspiring and motivated employees who serve to role model strong, positive relationships and are committed to fostering an environment where all staff are passionate about refining their skills and pursuing a love of learning.</p> <p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <ul> <li>Greet and monitor all visitors to Woodstock in accordance with Wenona Visitor Guidelines.</li> <li>Provide administrative support to the Woodstock Junior School (K-3) team.</li> <li>Maintain a file of school information pertaining to Woodstock, including notices, timetables and events in order to easily answer parent enquiries.</li> <li>Maintain a daily record of variation to normal routines for staff and students so that locations can be determined immediately in the event of an emergency.</li> <li>Typing of general correspondence and minutes as required.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for improvement in service, efficiency and effectiveness.</li> <li>Provide administrative assistance and additional support, as requested by the Head of Junior School and members of the Leadership Team.</li> <li>Collaborate with various stakeholders, including students, parents and staff.</li> <li>Provide support during various Junior School events to help ensure presentations and functions run smoothly and professionally.</li> </ul> <p>This is a permanent full-time position working during term time only, commencing Term 3, 2026 (20 July 2026 or on a date to be agreed).&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative support, preferably in an educational setting. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, good attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills as well as the ability to multitask in a timely manner.
