<p><strong>The Opportunity </strong></p>

<p>As our School Chaplain, you’ll become a valued part of the life of the school — visible, approachable, and relational. You’ll work alongside school leadership and wellbeing teams to nurture the emotional, spiritual, and social wellbeing of students from diverse backgrounds.</p>
<p>Your days might include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Supporting students one-on-one through life’s ups and downs</li>
<li>Facilitating wellbeing, resilience, and values-based programs</li>
<li>Encouraging positive relationships and a healthy school culture</li>
<li>Partnering with parents, churches, and community supports where appropriate</li>
<li>Assisting with camps, community events, and pastoral initiatives</li>
<li>Creating safe spaces where young people feel known, heard, and valued</li>
<li>Commencing immediately, the School Chaplain position offers 6.25 hours per week over 40 weeks of the year (school term weeks only). </li>
<li>Preferred working days are Wednesday or Thursday, to be discussed with the successful candidate.</li>

<p><strong>Essential Requirements</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for someone who:</p>
<ul>
<li>Is suitably qualified or holds a qualification equivalent to or higher than a Cert IV, which include competencies in:
<ul>
<li>Mental health and making appropriate referrals, and </li>
<li>Providing pastoral care, and/ or working with youth. </li>
</ul></li>
<li>Is a committed Christian who is active in church fellowship to join our vibrant Christian community.</li>
<li>Holds the required checks and training as outlined in the Job and Person Specification (or is willing to complete these prior to commencing).</li>
