With two campuses in Malvern, we take pride in fostering a respectful, encouraging, and child-safe environment that upholds strong Lasallian values.</p> <p>De La Salle College is seeking an outstanding educational leader to join our Learning &amp; Innovation and College Executive team as Director of Professional &amp; Pedagogical Growth.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and visionary educator to lead a culture of professional excellence, instructional growth, and continuous improvement across the College community.</p> <p>Working closely with the Deputy Principal – Learning &amp; Innovation, College Executive Team and staff, the successful applicant will drive the strategic development and implementation of high-quality professional learning programs that enhance teaching practice, leadership capability, and student outcomes within a contemporary Lasallian learning environment.</p> <p>Commencement Term 4, with flexibility for an earlier or later start date by negotiation.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The Director of Professional &amp; Pedagogical Growth will:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the strategic direction of professional learning across the College&nbsp;</li> <li>Design and implement whole-school professional learning programs and initiatives&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop staff capability through mentoring, coaching and instructional leadership&nbsp;</li> <li>Oversee teacher induction, accreditation, registration support and appraisal processes&nbsp;</li> <li>Facilitate leadership development programs for teaching and non-teaching staff&nbsp;</li> <li>Promote evidence-based pedagogical practice and continuous improvement&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage professional learning budgets and external professional learning processes&nbsp;</li> <li>Foster a collaborative culture aligned with the College’s Mission, Vision and Values&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>This Position of Leadership includes a time allowance of 24 periods per fortnight and is offered as a three-year tenure appointment.</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in education including a Master’s Degree (preferable);</li> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Professional Learning or Instructional Coaching (desirable)</li> <li>Experience in relevant educational leadership</li> <li>Accreditation to Teach Religious Education&nbsp;</li> <li>Current VIT Registration.</li> <li>A strong commitment to Catholic and Lasallian education&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven educational leadership experience and highly effective teaching practice&nbsp;</li> <li>Exceptional communication, organisational and relationship-building skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Expertise in contemporary pedagogy, professional learning and instructional coaching&nbsp;</li> <li>The capacity to inspire and develop staff through collaboration and mentoring&nbsp;</li> <li>A commitment to child safety and student wellbeing&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to build and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.</li> <li>Skills to create an engaging, educational, and challenging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join De La Salle College?</strong></p> <p>At De La Salle College, we are committed to creating a dynamic and inclusive learning community grounded in the Lasallian tradition of faith, service and community.
