The College is seeking applications from a passionate, qualified, and dedicated Executive Assistant to the Director of Business Services (DBS). The Executive Assistant to the Director of Business Services is a pivotal role supporting the DBS of one of the biggest, most prominent and dynamic independent schools in Canberra. The EA will provide high-level support to the Director of Business Services and will need outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills. The EA works closely with the DBS and primarily ensures the smooth functioning and efficient operation of the Office of the Director of Business Services. This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing 6 July 2026.

This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing 6 July 2026.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>A commitment to Catholic education in the Marist tradition and a willingness to contribute to the life of the College.</li> <li>A proactive, warm and personable nature, professional presentation, and an ability to liaise and interact effectively and positively with all staff and members of the College Community.</li> <li>Excellent writing and communication skills including the ability to communicate with accuracy, diplomacy, confidentiality and integrity.</li> <li>Excellent administrative, technological and organisational skills, including an ability to learn operational systems that are used in the College setting.</li> <li>Appropriate professional experience and/or experience in a school setting.</li> <li>A minimum of 5 years’ experience at a senior Executive Assistant level, including the effective management of highly confidential information.</li> </ul> <p>This position is available for commencement from 6 July 2026 or as negotiated.
