<p><i>Prince of Peace Lutheran College is seeking a permanent Classroom Teacher (P-6) – The Arts - </i><strong>Visual Arts, Media Arts and Dance </strong><i>with contemporary learning experience. FTE 0.6</i></p>
<p><i><strong>This is a permanent position, FTE 0.6, working Monday – Wednesday, commencing in Semester 2, 2026. </strong></i></p>
<ul>
<li><i><strong>It is essential that applicants have a demonstrated capacity in working as a Primary Classroom Arts Teacher Foundation to Year 6 as this is the main focus of the role. </strong></i></li>
<li><strong>Advocates for and develops a vibrant Primary </strong><i><strong>Arts program (Foundation to Year 6), fostering creativity, student voice, and community connection through performances, exhibitions, and authentic learning experiences.</strong></i></li>
<li><strong>Capacity to align with the expectations detailed in the role description classroom teacher – Junior, particularly as they apply to the Arts program</strong></li>

<p>SELECTION CRITERIA</p>
<p><strong>1. Demonstrated skills which reflect commitment to, and understanding of, the Christian ethos of the College</strong></p>
<p><br><strong>2. Demonstrated professional skills </strong></p>
<p>• Ability to develop professional relationships with children from Foundation to Year 6.</p>
<p>• Ability to develop professional relationships with staff, colleagues, parents and members of the community</p>
<p><strong>3. Demonstrated ability to plan and implement high quality teaching and learning programs </strong></p>
<p>• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Curriculum Arts subject – Visual Arts, Media Arts and Dance. </p>
<p>• Ability to integrate ICTs as cross curricular priorities in the curriculum</p>
<p><strong>4. Knowledge and Qualifications </strong></p>
<p>• An appropriate tertiary qualification in education</p>
<p>• Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (or able to obtain registration)</p>
