Loreto Kirribilli is seeking an experienced and proactive Property & Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance, presentation, safety and operational management of our school facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing educational environment while leading a dedicated Grounds and Maintenance team.
<p><strong>About the role...</strong></p>
<p>Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the <strong>Property & Facilities Manager</strong> is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the School’s buildings, grounds and facilities. This role plays a critical part in supporting a safe, welcoming and high-quality learning environment for staff and students.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Leading and managing the Grounds and Maintenance Department</li>
<li>Coordinating preventative maintenance schedules and capital replacement planning</li>
<li>Managing contractors, maintenance requests and facility operations</li>
<li>Overseeing WHS systems, fire and security systems and compliance requirements</li>
<li>Managing facilities and maintenance budgets including tender and procurement processes</li>
<li>Supporting school events and community use of facilities</li>
<li>Collaborating closely with School leadership and the Building Committee on future planning initiatives</li>
</ul>
<p>This role requires occasional out-of-hours and weekend work to support school operations and events.</p>

<li>Demonstrated experience in property, facilities or maintenance management</li>
<li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and contractors effectively</li>
<li>Experience managing budgets, procurement and maintenance operations</li>
<li>Knowledge of WHS legislation, building compliance and risk management practices</li>
<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li>Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities</li>
<li>The ability to work collaboratively within a school or community-focused environment</li>
</ul>
