<p><strong>About Our School</strong></p>
<p>LaSalle Catholic College is a 7-12 co-educational College. The Saint Yon Trade Training Centre, incorporated within the College, is a high quality training facility offering specialised vocational training to senior students.</p>
<p>Teaching/training staff assist the Principal and the Head of Trade Training in meeting the educational, workplace training and pastoral needs and requirements of students. The role is focused on delivering high quality, personalised student learning experiences via face to face and /or online learning. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting and mentoring a group of vocationally-focussed students.</p>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>As a suitably qualified <strong>Human Services - VET/Trade Trainer in Individual Support or Allied Health,</strong> you will be a dynamic educator, keen to engage and inspire our students and deliver a curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles.</p>
<p>To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>ability to deliver high quality, personalised training specific to the qualification</li>
<li>ability to support and supervise a group of vocationally focused students</li>
<li>ability to liaise with industry representatives whilst supporting the workplace learning program</li>
<li>effective teaching/coaching skills</li>
<li>sound written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>a commitment to quality education and training and to sharing your industry knowledge with your students</li>
<li>ability to work as part of a team of trainer educators</li>
<li>a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members</li>
<li>experience in training and mentoring young people in an employment or educational environment (highly desirable).</li>
</ul>
<p>You must demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>suitable qualification in Nursing or a specialisation in Allied Health</li>
<li>current industry skills, knowledge and experience directly relevant to training and assessment</li>
<li>Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or be prepared to obtain).</li>
<li>a passion to work with young people in an educational setting</li>
<li>support and commitment to the missions, values and ethos of Catholic education</li>
<li>previous experience in delivering vocational course.</li>
