<p><strong>The Role</strong><br> We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic experienced Learning Support Officer (LSO) to join our dedicated team in an ongoing 5 day &nbsp;position (30 hours) . This role involves working collaboratively with classroom teachers, Learning Diversity Leaders, and allied health staff to provide support for students with diverse learning needs.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children in our care.</li> <li>Build positive relationships with students and assist in creating engaging learning environments.</li> <li>Support the implementation of strategies in Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs).</li> <li>Facilitate small group intervention tasks in collaboration with teachers</li> <li>Support students’ sensory, regulation, processing, and language needs.</li> <li>Record adjustments and program notes in line with NCCD requirements.</li> <li>Participate in professional learning and contribute to continuous improvement.</li> <li>Support school events, excursions, and camps as required.</li> <li>Uphold and promote the Catholic ethos of Holy Family Primary School.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Selection Criteria</strong></p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;1.Student Support &amp; Wellbeing</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated commitment to child safety and wellbeing.</li> <li>Passion for supporting students with diverse needs.</li> <li>Experience in engaging and empowering primary-aged learners.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 2.Professional Skills &amp; Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Effective communication and organisational skills.</li> <li>Flexible, proactive, and resourceful approach.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 3.Commitment to Catholic Education &amp; Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Commitment to Catholic education and values.</li> <li>Current Working with Children Check and National Police Record Check.</li> <li>Certificate IV in Education Support preferable.</li> </ul>
