<p><strong>Location:</strong> Hybrid - World Square, CBD and WFH&nbsp;<br><strong>Start Date:</strong> Immediate or by negotiation<br><strong>Application Closing Date:</strong> Thursday, 21 May 2026&nbsp;<br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time, Permanent<br><br><strong>About the Role</strong><br><br> The <strong>Credit Officer</strong> is responsible for making first contact and initiating the first steps to build relationships with the outstanding fee payers. This includes understanding their financial situation and calculating manageable payment plans whilst continuing to develop and maintain the relationships forged.<br><br> The Credit Officer is required to perform tasks that include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>establishing initial contact with the fee payer and negotiate a payment plan</li> <li>offering assistance in line with the Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) School Fee Policy</li> <li>assessing and following up outstanding documentation required to inform decisions and present recommendations to Credit Controllers for more complex cases or escalated matters</li> <li>managing the Reminder List Report</li> <li>preparing correspondence to debtors in relation to full and partial bursaries/approval/decline and debt recovery letters</li> <li>liaising and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in relation to matters relating to your allocated geographical location under the guidance of the Supervisor: Credit Control</li> <li>providing support to team members and other system users</li> <li>and all other responsibilities as listed in the job description, or tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Work for Sydney Catholic Schools</strong><br><br> Joining <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/">Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS)</a> means being part of NSW's largest Catholic education community, with over 145 schools and 75,000 students.
