This part-time position (0.4) requires the successful applicant to work on Mondays and Fridays during term time.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist the Arts and Technology Teachers, ensuring the smooth delivery of curriculum.</li> <li>Ensure a safe and effective learning environment for students.</li> <li>Prepare and maintain arts technology equipment and materials.</li> <li>Assist with class demonstrations, maintain workshops and classrooms, order supplies, prepare materials and equipment for practical classes and support classroom teachers in practical classes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup and Flash Print.</li> <li>Effective interpersonal communication skills with staff, students and external organisations.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.</li> <li>Willingness and ability to work in a flexible manner within a team environment.</li> <li>Flexibility with working hours as these can change each semester based upon timetables.</li> <li>Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College and its mission to educate young people.</li> <li>A commitment to and knowledge of child safety policies and procedures.</li> <li>Punctuality and reliability.</li> <li>Trustworthiness and honesty.</li> <li>A commitment to and knowledge of child safety policies and procedures.</li> <li>First Aid certificate preferred.</li> <li>Valid Working with Children’s Check, or willingness to acquire one.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join John Paul College:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be part of a supportive and dynamic educational community.</li> <li>Opportunities for professional development.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Part-time, fixed term position.</li> <li>Commencing 17 June 2026.</li> <li>Employment conditions as per the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).</li> </ul> <p>If you are motivated and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
