<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p><strong>Clancy Catholic College West Hoxton</strong> is seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Worker to undertake general and maintenance work to ensure a clean, orderly and safe environment that enables enhanced student learning outcomes. You must demonstrate the ability to:</p>
<ul>
<li>prioritise and complete allocated work plans in accordance with College requirements</li>
<li>assist with cleaning and repairs as a result of student accidents, extreme weather, acts of vandalism etc</li>
<li>plan and organise workflow to accomplish established objectives</li>
<li>follow chemical usage and storage procedures</li>
<li>move items of furniture and classroom supplies around and set up furniture and equipment for sporting and special events</li>
<li>complete daily security routines (including school lockup and setting of alarm system) and safety inspections of grounds and equipment</li>
<li>promote a positive image of the College in all interactions</li>
<li>support other teams during peak loads</li>
<li>plan and execute maintenance of the school including gardens, paths, signage etc</li>
<li>undertake minor repairs as required including plastering, painting and basic carpentry</li>
<li>undertake minor repairs or replacements as required, including tap washers, light bulbs, furniture and equipment etc</li>
<li>identify and report any risks to the school leadership team</li>
<li>contribute to required committees, for example, the WHS committee</li>
<li>comply with WHS standards to ensure compliance</li>
<li>use technology and IT systems proficiently.</li>
</ul>
<p>Desirable criteria:</p>
<ul>
<li>previous experience in a school environment</li>
<li>qualification in relevant trade.</li>
</ul>
