<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>We are currently seeking co-educators who will assist in implementing a care program catering to the individual needs of each child within a group setting.</p>
<p>Co-educators play a crucial role at Sheldon College, with each day offering a variety-filled and dynamic experience.</p>
<p>Primary duties include supervising and interacting with the children, setting up activities, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all at our ELC facilities.</p>
<p>This role includes a strong responsibility for child safety and wellbeing, ensuring all practices align with legislative requirements and the College’s Child Safety and Wellbeing framework.</p>

<p><strong>About you</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent); or</li>
<li>Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)</li>
<li>Current Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting certificate</li>
<li>Current ACECQA-approved Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management Training</li>
<li>Ability to create a safe, secure learning environment where individual differences are respected and valued</li>
<li>Strong team orientation with the willingness to contribute and collaborate</li>
<li>Ability to establish effective relationships with colleagues, parents and the wider community</li>
<li>Demonstrated professional communication skills</li>
<li>High standards of personal integrity and professionalism</li>
<li>Model the 4C’s – Courtesy, Consideration, Cooperation and Common Sense</li>

<p><strong>Child Safety and Wellbeing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Hold or be able to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of child safety, duty of care and mandatory reporting obligations</li>
<li>Completion of accredited Child Protection Training</li>
<li>Completion of Child Safety Training in accordance with Child Safe Standards (e.g. CHCPRT025 or equivalent), or willingness to obtain upon commencement</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all children</li>
<li>Commitment to complying with the College’s Student Safety and Wellbeing policies and procedures</li>
