The college is currently accepting applications for a Curriculum Middle Leader - Food, Textiles, Digital and Design Technologies on a fixed-term contract consisting of one six (6) month middle leader contract. Two (2) further three (3) year appointments will be made subject to a satisfactory performance review at the conclusion of the initial six (6) month middle leader contract. The position holds a substantive teaching position.
<p>The role of the Curriculum Middle Leader Food, Textiles and Digital Technology is to support the mission of the College through leadership of the learning and teaching programs of the Technology curriculum including Food Technology, Textiles (Sewing), Digital Technology, Design and Cert III Hospitality. This involves developing appropriate curriculum in line with National, State and Diocesan requirements; ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels; monitoring the quality of student learning and the effectiveness of teacher practice through appropriate supervision; utilising thorough analysis of current data to inform decisions; building appropriate partnerships within and outside of the school; and prudently administering available resources. Curriculum Middle Leaders are accountable to and under the direction of the Assistant Principal - Curriculum. An ability to teach Food Technology, Textiles (Sewing) and Certificate III in Hospitality are highly desirable. Please note: This is not an eLearning role.</p>
