<p>St Josephine Bakhita is a growing Catholic primary school in the Five Farms estate in Clyde North and is situated 46 kilometres southeast of Melbourne’s Central Business District on the lands of the Bunurong People. The school, as part of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Parish, provides access to Catholic education for families situated in the eastern area of the Parish and boasts vibrant, modern classrooms that are well appointed and resourced.</p> <p><br> The school opened in January 2025 with an initial enrolment of 120 students. With a current enrolment of 215 students across 9 classes, the school will continue to grow in 2027 with the addition of four Foundation classes. The long-term enrolment projection for St Josephine Bakhita is 700 students (100 new students each year until capacity is reached). To support increasing enrolment numbers, new buildings will open for use in August 2026. The role of the primary deputy principal is to support the principal and leadership team in managing the planning, delivery, evaluation and improvement of the education of all students at St Josephine Bakhita Catholic Primary School.
