<ul> <li>Springfield location</li> <li>Casual or seasonal opportunity</li> <li>Lead and shape a dynamic school sports program</li> </ul> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sport Coordinator to join our Springfield Sport Department. Having recently joined the Greater Brisbane Conference Sporting Association after many years with QGSSSA and AIC, the College is committed to an excellence‑focused program underpinned by fairness and sportsmanship.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the planning, delivery and day‑to‑day management of assigned co‑curricular sport programs.</li> <li>Coordinate and support sport coaches, including appointments, communication, performance oversight and team organisation.</li> <li>Manage fixtures, training schedules, events and logistics, including transport, officials, venues, equipment and first aid.</li> <li>Ensure administrative accuracy and compliance, including records, results, safety standards, risk management and policies.</li> <li>Liaise with key stakeholders including parents, staff, students, external sporting bodies and the GBC.</li> <li>Promote a positive sporting culture aligned with College values, leadership development and student wellbeing.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>A relevant tertiary degree qualification in sport management or a related discipline, and/or extensive relevant work experience. Current First Aid/CPR qualifications are advantageous.</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of co‑curricular sport program delivery, including sport administration, staff coordination, fixtures, events, risk management and child safety requirements.</li> <li>Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of school‑based sporting structures, Greater Brisbane Conference (GBC) expectations, stakeholder engagement and the operational requirements of Primary and/or Secondary sport programs.<br> &nbsp;</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Highly developed organisational and time management skills.</li> <li>Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Us</strong></p> <p>Established in 2008, St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is a growing Kindergarten to Year 12 Co-Educational Day School of the Lutheran Church located in the master planned city of Springfield.
