<p>Wenona is seeking applications from experienced teachers who are interested in becoming the Head of Middle School. The Head of Middle School is responsible for the leadership, management and operation of the Middle School.This role is focused on the holistic development of each student within a collaborative and connected learning community, through proactive management of student care, wellbeing, engagement and behaviour.<br><br> In this position you will demonstrate strong leadership skills and will be provided with the opportunity to lead, guide and develop academic, student wellbeing and service opportunities for our Year 7 and 8 students. You will support a team and build on your leadership capacity by fostering authentic and caring relationships with students and the wider Wenona community.</p> <p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <ul> <li>Leading and developing the team of Year Coordinators and Connect Group Teachers.</li> <li>Supporting and providing leadership across the school.</li> <li>Managing key events and programs for Middle School.</li> <li>Liaising with various stakeholders.</li> <li>Managing students in need of additional support and providing updates to key stakeholders.</li> <li>Maintaining a strong leadership presence across all Middle School related activities.</li> </ul> <p>This is a leadership position at Wenona, with a level 3 leadership allocation provided. This position will commence in Term 3, 2026 with an initial appointment period until the end of Term 4, 2030. The ongoing nature of this position will be reviewed in Term 3, 2030.</p> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <p>We are looking for applications from experienced teachers who are enthusiastic about their involvement in an amazing leadership opportunity to manage the Middle School operations. You will display leadership qualities and will guide the team and students throughout the academic program, whilst embedding our school’s values of courage, strength, grace, wisdom, and kindness.
