<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a <strong>Curriculum Leader – Physical Education & Health</strong> to join our school community.</p>
<p>This is a Position of Leadership (POL 2) appointment through to the end of 2027, with an ongoing teaching position attached.</p>

<p><strong>About you</strong></p>
<p>You are an enthusiastic and reflective educational leader with a strong background in Physical Education and Health. You are passionate about student wellbeing, physical activity, and high‑quality teaching and learning, and bring a clear, thoughtful approach to curriculum leadership and improvement.</p>
<p>You work collaboratively with colleagues to build strong, inclusive programs and model effective teaching practice. With strong communication and organisational skills, you support staff, engage students, and contribute positively to a culture that values health, wellbeing, and lifelong learning within a Catholic school community.</p>

<p>In 2025, a diocesan first, a comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching program was simultaneously launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese. Magnify Sandhurst will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment. </p>
<p>Magnify Sandhurst is set to transform learning for students with more specific and explicit teaching practices, bringing greater consistency and a more predictable and effective education experience for all students. The Magnify Sandhurst program combines evidence-based practices in teaching and learning to support each student's unique needs, strengths, and goals, focusing on<br>
strengthening core areas like literacy and numeracy, building supportive classroom environments, and integrating Catholic values in daily learning. </p>
