<p>Orana Steiner School is seeking a <strong>School Registrar</strong> to join our operations team on a temporary, part-time basis (10 months, 30.4 hours per week), with the potential to transition to a full-time role in 2027.</p>
<p>This key position will suit a seasoned professional with experience in a client-facing sales role in not-for-profit or educational settings. In addition to a warm and welcoming manner, you have the skills to enable the growth of the school with a data-informed approach, managing the admissions pipeline through a digital platform. Our ideal candidate is passionate about Steiner education and is keen to work with our collaborative and values-driven team.</p>
<p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p>
<p>As a School Registrar, you will play a key role in enabling the growth of the school as the first point of contact for families in managing student enrolments and withdrawals. Working via an online enrolment platform (Digistorm Funnel), you will track enquiries from prospective families and guide them through the entire enrolment journey from school tour to interview to enrolment agreement. Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and staff, the role reports to the Business Manager and is responsible for managing day-to-day internal and external tasks for enrolments and withdrawals for Early Childhood through to Senior College levels in the school.</p>
<p><strong>Remuneration</strong></p>
<p>This is a temporary, part-time role (inclusive of term-breaks). Salary and conditions of employment are determined by the <i><strong>Independent Schools ACT (Professional and Operational Staff) Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025.</strong></i></p>
<p>The position is classified at <strong>Level 5</strong> of the Clerical and Administration category. The indicative gross annual salary is $103,997 (pro rata) plus 12% superannuation. Annual leave entitlement is 4 weeks per year, pro rata, subject to prior application and includes the End of Year compulsory shutdown. A leave loading of 17.5% applies.</p>
<p><strong>Work pattern</strong></p>
<p>This position is based onsite and requires 30.4 hours of work per week. There is flexibility in the work schedule, allowing you to choose between four full days (7.6 hours each) or five shorter days (6.08 hours each) per week. Attendance at information evenings and key enrolment-related meetings is mandatory.</p>
<p><strong>Key accountabilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Implement the complete enrolment process on a digital platform from Early Childhood to Senior College, by processing applications and coordinating interviews alongside the relevant staff in an accurate and timely manner.</li>
<li>Handle enrolment enquiries through phone, email and in-person, and engage with prospective families through the onboarding journey, to build lasting relationships with new families. </li>
<li>Organise and manage school tours, open days and information evenings alongside the Communications and Marketing Officer and school leadership.</li>
<li>Administer ongoing enrolment management, withdrawal notifications and processing interschool transfers.</li>
<li>Ensure administrative processes are robust, streamlined and in line with Australian Independent Schools’ best practice.</li>
<li>Provide regular reports to the school management team regarding enrolment activity (new enrolments, withdrawals, trends).</li>

<li>High degree of technological competence with software (Digistorm Funnel, Synergetic) and MS Office Suite.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service and sales skills.</li>

<li>High level of communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. </li>
