<p>Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is a well regarded independent co-educational Christian school with over 1700 students from Pre-K to Year 12. The College, located in the Hills District in Sydney’s northwest, is committed to a professional, collaborative and supportive workplace for employees. RHAC has modern facilities, is very well resourced and can be easily accessed by car or the Metro Northwest rail.</p>
<p>The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is a hands-on role presenting RHAC consistently, professionally and warmly across all channels. Specifically, this will involve content creation, social media posts, website updates, publishing newsletters, enrolment collateral and brand support. </p>
<p>The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will work closely with the enrolments team and school leaders to showcase the life of the College and strengthen engagement with current and prospective families.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><i><strong>Content & Storytelling</strong></i></p>
<ul>
<li>Source, write and publish day-to-day content that reflects the life of the College across academics, wellbeing, co-curricular, faith, student achievement and community events.</li>
<li>Capture and coordinate stories, images, testimonials and proof points from staff, students and families.</li>
<li>Help make academic pathways, outcomes and opportunities more visible through everyday communications and content.</li>
</ul>
<p><i><strong>Social Media Management</strong></i></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the College’s day-to-day social media activity, including planning, drafting, scheduling and publishing.</li>
<li>Ensure social content aligns with agreed brand themes.</li>
<li>Support a more consistent and disciplined social presence that balances community storytelling with enrolment visibility and brand-building.</li>
</ul>
<p><i><strong>Website Management</strong></i></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain and update the College website, ensuring content is current, accurate and aligned with the College’s messaging.</li>
<li>Upload news stories, update key pages, and support improvements to usability and enquiry pathways.</li>
</ul>
<p><i><strong>Internal Communications</strong></i></p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate the weekly newsletter and other regular parent communications.</li>
<li>Prepare, edit and proofread internal and external communications to ensure clarity, warmth and consistency.</li>
</ul>
<p><i><strong>Publications & Collateral</strong></i></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with the production of publications, flyers, brochures, event materials, enrolment collateral, presentations and other marketing assets.</li>
<li>Work within approved templates and brand guidelines to ensure consistent presentation across materials.</li>
<li>Support the maintenance of promotional assets as required.</li>
</ul>
<p><i><strong>Enrolments Support</strong></i></p>
<ul>
<li>Work with the Registrar and enrolments team to provide content and collateral that support tours, expos, open events, waitlist communications and nurture activity.</li>
<li>Help enhance the visual and messaging standards of enrolment touchpoints.</li>
</ul>
<p><i><strong>Brand Governance & Administration</strong></i></p>
<ul>
<li>Apply the College’s brand guidelines across communications and day-to-day materials.</li>
<li>Help maintain templates, image libraries, content calendars and shared marketing resources.</li>
<li>Monitor brand consistency and flag items that fall outside approved messaging or visual standards.</li>
<li>Assist with basic analytics, reporting and administration.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Attributes </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>An ability to write clearly, warmly and accurately for different audiences.</li>
<li>Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.</li>
<li>Attention to detail, especially in proofreading, formatting and quality control.</li>
<li>Strong skills to take photos and use them effectively to promote RHAC on social media platforms.
<ul>
<li>An ability to create videos would be an advantage.</li>
</ul></li>
<li>Basic design capability using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.</li>
<li>Willingness to work collaboratively with staff across the College and proactively gather stories and content.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications & Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A degree or recent qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, media or a related field would be an advantage, although is not required.</li>
<li>Some practical experience in marketing, communications, content creation or digital media, whether through an internship, graduate role, freelance work or student placement.</li>
<li>Experience working in a school would be ideal, although it not essential.</li>
<li>Familiarity with social scheduling tools, newsletter platforms and basic analytics would be beneficial.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Employment Arrangements</strong></p>
<p>The College is happy to receive applications from applicants who are seeking:</p>
<ul>
<li>A full time role working 48 weeks per year.</li>
<li>Working 5 days per week during school terms, with some additional days of work during school holidays as needed.</li>
</ul>
<p>While one of the above 2 arrangements is preferred, applications for part time work will be considered. Some out of hours work will be required to promote key events e.g. parent information evenings, Hills Expo.</p>
<p>The employment contract will be based on the <i>Independent Schools NSW (Professional and Operational Staff) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025</i>. This is often referred to as the PAOS CMEA. The specific salary will be determined after considering the skills and experience of shortlisted applicants. </p>
<p><strong>Child Safety</strong></p>
<p>The College is committed to effectively and practically implementing the <a href="https://ocg.nsw.gov.au/sites/default/files/2021-12/g_CSS_GuidetotheStandards.pdf?Embed=Y" rel="nofollow">Child Safe Standards</a> developed by the Office of the Children’s Guardian. College staff receive annual training in Child Protection.</p>
