Cana is seeking to employ a part-time classroom teacher who is ready to join our enthusiastic Year 2 teaching team for the remainder of the 2026 school year on a Monday, Thursday and Friday beginning from Term 3. There is the possibility that this position may continue into 2027.
<p>The successful applicant will demonstrate:</p> <p>- a commitment to the Values and Ethos of Catholic Education</p> <p>- a commitment to the Safety, Wellbeing and Protection of all children in a Child Safe environment</p> <p>- a commitment to supporting the overall wellbeing of students, and to provide adjustments as needed</p> <p>- willingness to working collaboratively with colleagues to improve student outcomes&nbsp;</p> <p>- an understanding of explicit teaching strategies particularly in English and Mathematics,</p> <p>- an understanding of the MACS 2030 Vision for Instruction</p> <p>- an ability to differentiate teaching and assessment practices to meet the needs of the students.</p> <p>We are committed to working collaboratively to support all students entrusted to our care, and have zero tolerance for Child Abuse.</p>
