<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> World Square, CBD<br><strong>Start Date:</strong> Immediate Start (Negotiable)<br><strong>Application Closing Date:</strong> Tuesday, 28 April 2026&nbsp;<br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time, Temporary</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The <strong>Mission and Identity Partner: Religious Education (Network K-12)</strong> -<strong> Primary Focus</strong> works collaboratively within the Religious Education Team. The role focuses on using education data to improve system outcomes and achieve excellence in primary religious education and curricular outcomes across schools and Networks.</p> <p>The Mission &amp; Identity Partner: Religious Education (Primary Focus) is required to perform tasks that include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>working with the Supervisor: Religious Education (Primary) to develop a cohesive religious education plan for Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) networks and primary schools</li> <li>collaborating with Religious Education Coordinators and school leadership teams in building their capacity to lead and animate the mission and identity of the school</li> <li>mentoring and coaching Religious Education Coordinators to develop their capacity as leaders</li> <li>facilitating recruitment processes and assisting in the succession planning for religious leadership in schools</li> <li>undertaking statistical analysis utilising system, school and network data, demographics, and other key information to prepare reports on religious education and student outcomes</li> <li>undertaking internal and external research into contemporary educational pedagogies, emerging educational theories and national and international trends in religious education</li> <li>effectively communicating research and data analysis in a clear, concise and meaningful way to a wide range of stakeholders and senior audiences using a range of written, verbal and visual methods, and to publication standards</li> <li>utilising research and data analysis to develop a range of professional learning modules, both online and face to face, teaching resources, policies and practices for schools and networks in religious education</li> <li>developing a suite of religious education curricular materials including texts, tests and assessments, online sites, portals and engaged communities for the sharing of knowledge between schools and network staff</li> <li>being present in the networks and leading highly effective professional development to support schools to improve religious education curriculum and outcomes</li> <li>promoting and implementing SCS mission: To provide Catholic education that is deeply anchored in faith, marked by educational excellence and accessible to all who seek it</li> <li>promoting and implementing SCS mission: To offer a Christ-centred vision of education focused on forming the whole person and fostering the pursuit of truth, beauty and goodness</li> <li>any other duties as directed from time to time.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Work for Sydney Catholic Schools</strong></p> <p>Joining <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/">Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS)</a> means being part of NSW's largest Catholic education community, with over 145 schools and 75,000 students.
