St Mary’s Primary School, Mt Evelyn is seeking a Principal who is an educational leader who inspires excellence, leads with strong faith and integrity.

Your leadership will enable the vision of the school to be realised, creating an environment where everyone can reach their full potential. The role of the Principal is one of the most important roles across the MACS system, as their faith and educational leadership enables the vision of the school to be realised. This role will work in collaboration with MACS, staff members, local Parish Priest, and the broader School community to achieve the identified goals of the School.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ABOUT ST MARY’S PRIMARY SCHOOL, MT EVELYN.</strong></p> <p>St Mary’s Primary School located in the beautiful Yarra Valley situated on 17 acres of bushland opened in the 1980s to provide Catholic education to families in the surrounding local area. The school shares a close partnership with the St. Mary’s Parish, providing meaningful connection, service values, and faith to students and their families.</p> <p>Teaching staff prioritise student wellbeing and positive relationships encouraging students to confidently problem solve and to develop a sense of achievement from what they learn while providing a range of supports.</p> <p>A shared and embedded language of learning, feedback and engagement, together with a strong knowledge of current learning and teaching practices within the MACS ‘Vision for Instruction” is essential.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE COMMUNITY</strong></p> <p>St Mary’s Primary School is a welcoming parish community built on inclusive relationships and strong connections between students, families, staff, and parish members.
