We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Curriculum Coordinator to support the effective implementation of curriculum, teaching and learning practices across the Primary School (K–6).

<p><strong>St Mary &amp; St Mina’s Coptic Orthodox College – Bexley, NSW</strong><br><strong>Commencing Monday 25th May 2026</strong><br><i><strong>Closing Date: Friday 24th April 2026</strong></i></p> <p>St Mary &amp; St Mina’s Coptic Orthodox College is an independent co-educational K–12 Christian school committed to providing high-quality education grounded in the values and teachings of the Coptic Orthodox faith. We strive to develop students who are spiritually grounded, intellectually curious, and socially responsible.</p> <p>We are seeking a highly organised and collaborative <strong>Primary Curriculum Coordinator (1pt Leadership Allowance)</strong> to support the effective implementation of curriculum, teaching and learning practices across the Primary School (K–6).</p> <p>The successful applicant will report directly to the Head of Teaching &amp; Learning and work closely with school leadership team and teaching staff to ensure strong and consistent curriculum delivery across the Primary School.</p> <p>The role includes a small teaching component alongside curriculum leadership responsibilities.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The Primary Curriculum Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning, implementation, and consistency of teaching and learning across the Primary School.</p> <p>The successful candidate will:</p> <ul> <li>Model a strong commitment to the Christian ethos and Coptic Orthodox values of the College.</li> <li>Be familiar with the new syllabus updates and support the implementation and ongoing development of curriculum and teaching practices across K–6.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with school leadership and teachers to ensure consistent and effective curriculum delivery.</li> <li>Assist teachers with curriculum planning, programming, assessment and reporting practices.</li> <li>Monitor and support the organisation of curriculum documentation in line with school and regulatory expectations.</li> <li>Assist in the coordination of key Primary School activities such as excursions, camps, sporting events and other school initiatives.</li> <li>Contribute to whole-school teaching and learning initiatives and improvement strategies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Selection Criteria</strong></p> <p>Applicants should address the following criteria in their written response (maximum two pages):</p> <ul> <li>Commitment to upholding and promoting the Christian ethos and Coptic Orthodox values of the College.</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of curriculum planning, programming and assessment in a K–6 setting.</li> <li>Ability to support teachers in implementing consistent and effective teaching and learning practices.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills and the ability to assist in coordinating school programs and activities.</li> <li>Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with school leadership and teaching staff.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.</li> <li>Commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflective teaching practice.</li> <li>Capacity to contribute positively to whole-school initiatives and a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Recognised teaching qualification and current NESA accreditation.</li> <li>Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).</li> <li>Experience teaching in a Primary School (K–6) setting.</li> <li>Familiarity with NESA curriculum requirements is desirable.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Requirements</strong></p> <p>Applicants are asked to include the following in their submission:</p> <ul> <li>Cover letter outlining your interest in the role and statement of educational philosophy (1 page)</li> <li>Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing teaching and relevant leadership experience</li> <li>Written response addressing the Key Selection Criteria (maximum two pages)</li> <li>NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) details</li> </ul>
