The Learning Support Officer (LSO) plays a vital role in supporting students’ learning, wellbeing, and development. Working closely with teachers, school leadership, and families, LSOs help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that aligns with the school’s vision and mission.

<p>St Richard’s Primary School, Kilsyth is seeking a dedicated, positive and compassionate <strong>Learning Support Officer (LSO)</strong> to join our vibrant school community.</p> <p>The LSO plays a vital role in supporting the inclusion of students who require adjustments or modifications to their learning or school life. Working under the guidance and direction of classroom teachers, the LSO assists in implementing learning programs, fostering student independence, and promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.</p> <p><strong>The successful applicant will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support individual and small group learning under teacher direction</li> <li>Assist in implementing learning and wellbeing adjustments</li> <li>Assist students with Personalised Learning Plans in reaching their targeted goals</li> <li>Maintain NCCD evidence, recording daily support levels, student progress as directed by the Learning Diversity Leader</li> <li>Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families</li> <li>Contribute to a positive, inclusive and nurturing school culture</li> </ul> <p><strong>Applications close:</strong> 10/04/2026 at 9am</p> <p>St Richard's school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.</p> <p>Further Information on Child Safety is available on the School website:</p>
