We are seeking a committed and compassionate Learning Enrichment Officer to join our Middle & Senior Campus (Years 7–12).

<p>Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K–12 co-educational, independent Christian school located in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane. Established in 1984 by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation, the College provides quality Christian education to approximately 820 students across two campuses in Everton Park and Everton Hills.</p> <p>=========================================================================</p> <p>We are seeking a committed and compassionate Learning Enrichment Officer to join our Middle &amp; Senior Campus (Years 7–12). This fixed-term, term-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with teachers and students to support learning, wellbeing and inclusion within a Christian educational environment.</p> <p><strong>Fixed Term, Term‑Time Appointment</strong><br><strong>Days/Hours:</strong> 4 days per week (working days and schedule to be discussed at interview)<br><strong>Hours:</strong> Minimum of 20 hours per week</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>Working under the direction of the Learning Enrichment Coordinator, the successful applicant will:</p> <ul> <li>Support individual and small groups of students within the classroom, focusing on cognitive, behavioural and social goals</li> <li>Assist with the preparation of learning resources for students on modified or differentiated programs</li> <li>Provide supervised support for students withdrawn for targeted learning assistance</li> <li>Assist students with organisation, engagement and self-regulation</li> <li>Collect and maintain relevant learning data and records</li> <li>Communicate effectively with teachers regarding student progress</li> <li>Support the College’s positive behaviour and wellbeing practices</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You are a collaborative, student-centred professional who:</p> <ul> <li>Enjoys working with adolescents with diverse learning needs</li> <li>Demonstrates patience, empathy and initiative</li> <li>Values consistency, structure and positive relationships</li> <li>Is committed to working within a Christian educational community</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Essential Qualifications &amp; Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or working towards)</li> <li>Current Positive Notice Blue Card (essential prior to commencement)</li> <li>Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Selection Criteria (One Paragraph)</strong></p> <p><strong>SC1 Demonstrated skills which reflect commitment to, and an affinity for, children with learning difficulties and special needs.</strong></p> <p>1. Experience and knowledge of the needs of secondary-aged students with learning difficulties and special needs.</p> <p>2. Ability to listen to, relate to, and understand secondary-age children with learning needs and respond accordingly.</p> <p>3. Ability to maintain a positive, focused, well-managed learning environment.</p> <p>4. Ability to prepare resources suitable for use with students with special needs.</p> <p>5. Ability to maintain records of students’ learning and communicate these efficiently to fellow staff members with primary responsibility for the students’ learning.</p> <p><strong>SC2 Demonstrated professional skills</strong></p> <p>1. Demonstrated basic computer skills.</p> <p>2. Ability to develop professional relationships with children, staff, parents and members of the community.</p> <p>3. Ability and commitment to work as a member of a team.</p> <p>4. Demonstrated participation and willingness to participate in in-service and professional development.</p> <p>5. Demonstrated knowledge of privacy and confidentiality policies.</p> <p><strong>SC3 Commitment to the Christian ethos of the College</strong></p> <p>1.
