<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>In this specialist advisory role, you will partner closely with principals and school teams to support effective, student-centred decision-making.</p>
<p>You will provide subject matter expertise in complex wellbeing and diverse learning matters, contribute to case collaboration, and help build sustainable, whole school capability through coaching and professional learning.</p>
<p>The Behaviour Specialist role includes a strong focus on behaviour assessment, intervention and whole school behaviour planning.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Work in partnership with principals and school teams to support informed decision-making for students and families.</li>
<li>Provide specialist advice in complex matters including behaviour, attendance, wellbeing and significant adjustments.</li>
<li>Contribute to case collaboration and coordinated, multidisciplinary responses.</li>
<li>For Behaviour Specialist:
<ul>
<li>Apply functional approaches to behaviour</li>
<li>Develop individual behaviour support plans</li>
<li>Support schools to implement whole school behaviour frameworks</li>
</ul></li>
<li>Design and deliver professional learning that builds consistent practice across schools.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in line with legislative and safeguarding requirements.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Learning Partners, specialists and system teams.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>You are a confident, collaborative professional with specialist expertise in wellbeing and/or diverse learning and a practical approach to supporting schools.</p>
<p>You will bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>Expertise in a relevant specialist area (e.g. behaviour, disability, mental health, attendance, diverse learning).</li>
<li>Experience supporting schools through coaching, mentoring or advisory work.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policy and compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Ability to translate theory and assessment into clear, practical strategies.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, judgement and documentation skills.</li>
<li>Experience working in or alongside school settings is highly regarded.</li>
