We are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher (FTE 1.0) to commence at our Castle Hill Satellite Class. Our classroom teachers are the 'project manager' for their class and leads the classroom team providing direction and instructions to the teacher’s aides.

<p><strong>ST LUCY'S SATELLITE CLASS at ST ANGELA'S PRIMARY SCHOOL, CASTLE HILL for a KINDERGARTEN to YEAR 4 CLASS</strong></p>
<p>In addition to our main campus at Wahroonga, St Lucy’s School offers K-4 specialised education at St Angela’s Primary, Castle Hill. Satellite class students participate in a specialised educational program within their classroom, and benefit from all the social opportunities that a mainstream campus can offer.</p>
<p>St Angela’s Primary School and St Lucy’s School are Catholic schools who share a commitment to holistic education.</p>
<p>The St Lucy’s School Satellite Programs are for students who will benefit from a small size class (up to 10 students) with specialised teaching, and whose goal is to transition to a mainstream school. St Lucy’s students who are enrolled in our satellite classes are also connected to our main campus in Wahroonga and visit to participate in special occasions like feast days, liturgies, and more.</p>
<p>St Lucy’s satellite class at St Angela’s Primary School provides opportunities for students to extend their social and independence skills with their mainstream peers. St Lucy’s satellite students integrate with mainstream peers on the playground, at mass and assembly and do specialist lessons. <p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher (FTE 1.0) to commence at our Castle Hill Satellite Class. Our classroom teachers are the 'project manager' for their class and leads the classroom team providing direction and instructions to the teacher’s aides. They are responsible for the social, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being of their students and for their progress in all areas of the curriculum.</p>

<p>The following experience, skills and attributes are desirable.</p>

<li>Qualifications or study in the area of Special Education</li>
<li>Prior experience in Special Education in Primary or Secondary schools.</li>
