<p>We are seeking a professional, organised, and student focused<strong> </strong>Student Services Administrative Assistant to join our Student Services team. This role plays a vital part in supporting student wellbeing, safety, and the smooth daily operations of the College.</p>
<p><strong> About the Role</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong>The Student Services Administrative Assistant is often the first point of contact for students, families, and staff in relation to student matters. The role requires a calm, welcoming, and confidential approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy and dynamic environment.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Providing professional and welcoming reception and administrative support within Student Services, acting as a key point of contact for students, families, and staff.</li>
<li>Managing student administration processes, including maintaining accurate records, confidential documentation, and supporting enrolment, transition, and wellbeing related processes.</li>
<li>Supporting attendance administration, including daily attendance recording, excursion attendance checks, SMS notifications to families, and follow-up of unexplained absences.</li>
<li>Assisting with student related processes such as equipment confiscations, student removals, scheduled sessions, and general Student Services coordination.</li>
<li>Supporting student health and wellbeing by working closely with the College Nurse, assisting with first aid and student health matters, and stepping in to support student health needs when required.</li>
<li>Contributing to the College’s strong child safety, duty of care, and emergency management practices, including acting as an Area Warden when required.</li>

<li>Demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, the ethos and mission of Catholic education.</li>
<li>Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a calm, welcoming, and professional manner.</li>
<li>Demonstrate high levels of discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality when working with sensitive information.</li>
<li>Be highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a busy environment.</li>
<li>Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.</li>
<li>Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety, professional boundaries, and duty of care.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Level 2 First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain).</li>
<li>A valid Employee Working with Children Check.</li>
<li>A National Police Check.</li>
