St Mark's is seeking a passionate, hard working teacher, to join our team, in Week 3, Term 2, 2026. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead their team, fostering: - a sense of belonging and connection to each other and the wider school community, - a sense of fun and joy in the work of the team and - support for the implementation of the MACS Vision for Instruction and Engagement.

<p><strong><u>SELECTION CRITERIA:</u></strong><br> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>• Appropriate educational qualification to teach in a Primary School</p> <p>• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School or a willingness to undertake accreditation</p> <p>• VIT Registration</p> <p>• Level 2 First Aid preferable</p> <p><strong>Personal Qualities/Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hardworking, fun and energetic with a joyful and positive commitment to and involvement in all aspects of school life</li> <li>Ability to build relationships with all members of the community, communicate effectively, solve problems, think creatively and work collaboratively in a leadership position</li> <li>A strong commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education</li> <li>Sound classroom management skills</li> <li>Current knowledge and competency in using technology to engage students safely</li> <li>Ability to provide a safe, secure learning environment for all, in line with the current child safe standards</li> <li>Excellent organisational and leadership skills, including thorough record keeping, detailed planning and assessment documents, along with meeting agendas and minutes etc&nbsp;</li> <li>A passion for teaching children and a sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum</li> <li>Confident implementation of explicit teaching methods using engagement and behavioural norms in line with MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement</li> <li>Ability to use student data to tailor curriculum to meet the individual needs of students</li> <li>Ability to be confidential, responsive and sensitive to issues raised by staff, students and families</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
