<p>Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, Risk and Governance, the Risk and Compliance Adviser is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and maintaining the College’s governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. You will provide specialist advice to senior leaders, promote a strong culture of risk awareness, and ensure the College meets all legal and regulatory obligations. This is a broad specialist role spanning WHS, safeguarding, policy, audit, and incident management.</p> <p><strong>Duties</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain risk management, internal audit, and compliance frameworks</li> <li>Advise the College Leadership Team on risk, WHS, safeguarding, and policy matters</li> <li>Lead compliance monitoring, reporting, and incident management processes</li> <li>Conduct risk assessments, compliance reviews, and internal audits</li> <li>Deliver staff training and guidance on risk and compliance practices</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills and experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Qualification in risk, compliance, governance, or a related discipline</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in risk and compliance management (education or NFP preferred)</li> <li>Proven ability to develop and implement risk management and audit systems</li> <li>Strong stakeholder engagement and written communication skills</li> <li>Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Culture</strong></p> <p>Join a team of highly motivated professionals who are passionate about education and committed to each other’s success.
