<p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
As a <strong>Diverse Learning Coordinator (2 pt)</strong>, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent. <br><br>
To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p>
<ul>
<li>lead the Diverse Learning team in the provision of learning support for Years 7 to 12</li>
<li>oversee case management of students, including maintenance of personalised plans in consultation with parents/carers</li>
<li>oversee EAL/D responsibilities for the College</li>
<li>facilitate appropriate assessment and determine level of support for referred students</li>
<li>liaise actively with external health providers through diagnostic processes</li>
<li>oversee and facilitate collaborative meetings with parents/carers</li>
<li>work with KLA teachers to advise on and create adjustments for individual students' needs</li>
<li>develop and maintain effective whole school records of evidence for annual NCCD processes including student files</li>
<li>identify students requiring support and, contribute to the overseeing of their specific work in learning support (enrolment processes)</li>
<li>facilitate Diverse Learning team meetings as required according to College meeting schedules</li>
<li>demonstrate the ability and experience in developing individual learning plans that includes learning adjustments, post school support, enrolment in discrete or life skill courses, special provisions and work placement</li>
<li>collaborate and build the collective and individual capacity of the Diverse Learning team</li>
<li>demonstrate experience with programming and assessment design, reporting and feedback</li>
<li>demonstrate an understanding of the Disability Discrimination Act (1992) and Disability Standards for Education (2003)</li>
<li>bring a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.</li>
