Cranbrook School is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to cover a period of parental leave, commencing in April 2026.

<p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong></p> <p>The Admissions Department assists all prospective Cranbrook families from their first introduction to the School through to the enrolment of their child.</p> <p>The Admissions Coordinator provides effective and efficient support in all administrative activities involved in the Cranbrook School admissions process.</p> <p>Responsibilities include answering and directing all incoming phone inquiries, managing the Enrolments inbox and responding to or directing the email to the appropriate team member, checking admissions applications and enrolment information, database management, maintaining and updating records in the school management system, scanning of student files, scheduling of admissions activities, supervision of academic assessments, monitoring and managing Admissions marketing materials, and assisting with set up and organisation of Open Days, Walk and Talks, Expos and other events.&nbsp;</p> <p>This is a full-time opportunity, based at the Senior School campus in Bellevue Hill, working onsite Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.&nbsp;</p> <p>Cranbrook School staff enjoy a stimulating work environment as part of a team of talented professionals, excellent opportunities for professional development, and attractive remuneration and benefits.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p> <p>You will have experience in an administrative role and an appetite for a busy but key supportive position in a dynamic educational setting. With a professional demeanour, and exceptional interpersonal skills, you will be very organised, have high level time management skills, and a demonstrated customer service-based approach in all interactions.</p> <p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Discretion in managing confidential information</li> <li>Demonstrated outstanding database management skills</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including experience in mail merging</li> <li>Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and experience in multi-inbox management</li> <li>Ability to work in a self-directed and proactive manner, under the leadership of a direct line manager and within a wider cohesive team</li> <li>Ability to think clearly and remain calm under pressure</li> <li>Meticulous attention to detail and a desire to see tasks completed to a high standard</li> <li>A friendly, kind and courteous manner</li> <li>Flexibility and the ability to multi-task</li> <li>A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children&nbsp;</li> <li>A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when engaging with children.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Admissions and/or enrolments experience in an independent school setting will be highly regarded.</p> <p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong></p> <p>Applications should include a resume and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria and reasons for your interest in the position.
