We empower students to discover their passions and reach their full potential through a diverse curriculum, opportunities for leadership and service and providing a child safe environment.</p> <p>We are seeking a reliable and motivated Grounds &amp; Maintenance Officer to join our Shared Services team.</p> <p>This role plays an important part in maintaining the school’s buildings, facilities and outdoor spaces to ensure a safe, functional and well-presented environment for students, staff and visitors.</p> <p>Working as part of the College’s facilities team, the successful candidate will undertake a range of groundskeeping, maintenance and operational support duties across the campus.</p> <p>This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in maintaining high standards across school facilities and grounds.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Responsibilities may include:</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining lawns, gardens, landscaped areas and outdoor spaces across the College campus</li> <li>Operating groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, blowers and brush cutters</li> <li>Performing routine maintenance tasks and minor building repairs</li> <li>Assisting with preventative maintenance across College facilities</li> <li>Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, hazards or infrastructure concerns</li> <li>Supporting the coordination of external contractors when required</li> <li>Assisting with furniture movement, event setup and operational support</li> <li>Maintaining a safe and clean environment across the campus</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>The successful candidate will demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, facilities or a similar hands-on role</li> <li>Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely</li> <li>Strong practical problem-solving skills</li> <li>A proactive approach to identifying maintenance issues</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> <li>A strong commitment to Work Health and Safety practices</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Current NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)</li> <li>Ability to perform manual and outdoor work</li> <li>Strong attention to safety and detail</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working in a school or educational environment</li> <li>Qualification in horticulture, facilities maintenance or a related field</li> </ul>
