The College is seeking an experienced and passionate professional to be appointed Head of House.

Our outdoor education campus, Tallong, is located on 97 hectares in the Southern Highlands. Our Early Education Centre (Mary Bailey House) and Out of School Hours (OOSH) services are located in the grounds of the Primary (Del Monte) Campus.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Position: Permanent Full Time</strong></p> <p><strong>Commencement date: Term 2 2026, 20 April 2026</strong></p> <p><strong>The successful candidate will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College and promote the prayer life of the College</li> <li>lead the House Team in the development, implementation and evaluation of the pastoral program&nbsp;</li> <li>foster a community where students are known and feel a sense of belonging, in partnership with staff, students and parents/carers</li> <li>demonstrate expert understanding of curriculum requirements for relevant NESA&nbsp;courses your subject areas</li> <li>be a collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams&nbsp;</li> <li>have a high level of knowledge and understanding of the social and emotional needs of adolescent girls</li> <li>be an exemplary teacher with demonstrated understanding of contemporary pedagogy</li> <li>contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and programs for curriculum, assessment and reporting across Years 5-12.</li> </ul> <p><i><strong>The ability to teach English, Maths, Philosophy or HSIE&nbsp;is desirable but not necessary for the role.</strong></i></p> <p><i>Previous experience teaching the IB Diploma is highly advantageous.&nbsp;</i></p> <p>Applications must contain a cover letter addressed to the&nbsp;<strong>College Principal, Ms Paulina Skerman</strong>, outlining relevant experience and a detailed Curriculum Vitae must be submitted with the names and contact details of three referees.</p> <p>For further information please go to our College Website&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ssc.nsw.edu.au/about-us/employment/" rel="nofollow"><u>https://www.ssc.nsw.edu.au/about-us/employment/</u></a> or contact Ann McGovern, Deputy Principal - Staff&nbsp; on (02) 9745 7025.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Applications close: 4:00pm Friday 27 March 2026.
