We are a growing and vibrant school with an enrolment of 576 students, and we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Diverse Learning Needs Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role sits within a highly skilled and collaborative staff culture, where teachers work closely together to plan, reflect, and design learning that supports every student to flourish. The successful applicant will play a central role in supporting students with a wide range of learning needs, including those who are twice-exceptional, and will contribute to strengthening inclusive practices across the school.<br><br>
Experience in a similar role is preferred, along with relevant qualifications in special education or a related field. A strong understanding of the Disability Standards for Education and the processes involved in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data is essential. As a <strong>Diverse Learning Teacher</strong>, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies</li>
<li>strong classroom management and student well-being focus</li>
<li>ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences</li>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li>
