St Cecilia's Catholic Primary School, Wyong is currently seeking an energetic and passionate Learner Diversity Teacher.
<p>St Cecilia’s Catholic School, Wyong was opened in 1916 by the Sisters of St Joseph. The school is situated on NSW’s Central Coast and has a current enrolment of 320 students.</p>

<p><strong>Specific Criteria</strong><br>
</p>
<ul>
<li>Supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the Diocese of Broken Bay</li>
<li>Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner</li>
<li>Current knowledge of The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and Disability Standards for Education</li>
<li>Current knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), its processes and obligation to schools</li>
<li>Develop, implement, assess, and monitor the individual plans for each student in the support class, including behaviour and personal care support plans.</li>
<li>Collaborate with CSBB teachers, Learning Partners and external health and wellbeing service providers to ensure students are engaged in learning with successful outcomes</li>
<li>Facilitate safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive behaviour for learning</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Successful experience in building the capacity of teachers to support children with disability</li>
<li>Committed to supporting student wellbeing</li>
<li>Must be a 4-year trained teacher</li>
<li>Hold a valid Working with Children Check</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications and Accreditations</strong><br>
</p>
<ul>
<li>Practising Catholic and/or can demonstrate an understanding and commitment to, the ethos of the Catholic faith in an educational context.</li>
<li>Relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards an initial teacher education program in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement</li>
<li>NESA accredited as Proficient or working towards Proficient accreditation</li>
<li>Accredited to be a teacher of Religious Education or in the process of completing RE accreditation (applicable for Primary teachers)</li>
<li>Valid Working with Children check.</li>
