<p><strong><u>The role:</u></strong></p>
<p>Applications are invited for appropriately qualified teachers with a track record of success in <strong>Secondary Learning Support and EAL/D.</strong></p>
<p><strong>This is a permanent full-time role commencing ASAP (start date neg.).</strong></p>
<p>As a key contributor within the 7-12 Learning Enrichment faculty, this position provides direct and timely specialist assistance to students in regular classes who have additional support needs, thereby promoting a culture of inclusivity where everyone has the opportunity to achieve their potential. Key tasks include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Managing a case load of students, with a particular focus on EAL/D.</li>
<li>Developing and implementing Individualised Education Programs (IEPs).</li>
<li>Providing in-class support and differentiation (with the same face-to-face load as a full-time subject teacher).</li>
<li>Liaising with parents, external stakeholders, and fellow teaching and pastoral staff.</li>
<li>Meeting relevant regulatory, reporting, and administrative requirements as related to each student.</li>

<p><strong><u>The ideal candidate:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>NESA-qualified to teach in NSW.</li>
<li>Relevant post-graduate qualifications a plus (but extensive equivalent experience will be viewed equally favourably).</li>
<li>At least 2 years' direct experience in secondary Learning Support.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with EAL/D.</li>
<li>A passionate advocate for students with diverse learning needs.</li>
<li>Open-minded and forward-thinking in pedagogical and pastoral practice.</li>
<li>A confident and communicative team player who makes a positive contribution to the life and culture of Kambala.</li>
