<p>We are searching for a special education teacher seeking a flexible working environment.</p>
<p>You will be teaching a 10 year old child from a residential home in a room that has been set up like a classroom. This position will have condensed hours, the luxury of time to teach and the flexibility to choose and modify your teaching approach. You will be working in a relaxed environment with equipment and resources supplied, including a dedicated study area. </p>
<p>You will teach from a modified WA Curriculum; with experience in DFS training and teaching children with learning disabilities. </p>
<p>Your role will involve teaching from a modified curriculum with a multi-sensory approach and using explicit instruction to ensure learning outcomes are met. </p>
<p>You must be a qualified teacher with direct experience working in special education or you specialise in special education. At present we believe there is 2 - 3 days per week at circa 3 - 4 hours each day so between 8 - 12 hours per week. This would suit parent who is looking for on going work and able to work within the school day hours.</p>
